Recently completed, this home in Pacific Grove, California is designed for a modest, triangular-shaped lot that has a variety of significant Monterey Pine trees and California Live Oaks. The design seeks to preserve as many of these trees as possible while capturing views of the ocean beyond from the living room and connecting deck. The street presence is subdued, comprised of simple stucco boxes, while the living, dining and kitchen take on shapes that fill the remainder of the uniquely shaped lot. A partial walk-out basement connects the house to the backyard. In all, the home offers 2 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms in 2,417 square feet.
