This recently completed kitchen remodel is in the Madrona neighborhood of Seattle. The existing kitchen was original to the 1956 home, but the layout was inefficient with a poor physical and visual connection to the adjacent living spaces. We worked within the existing footprint to come up with a new layout that dramatically improves the usability and storage while creating a stronger visual connection to the backyard and dining area. Careful placement of doorways and interior walls allows a natural flow while minimizing structural modifications. A palette of bright whites, bronze accents and pops of color help make the new kitchen feel welcoming and timeless.
